Momentum in MA special election

Fellow Patriots,

Last week Steve Foley and I flew in to Boston to begin trailing the Brown campaign and cover the special election for U.S. Senate in MA. We also helped organize multiple volunteers to come into the state and help with the campaign where needed.

Before coming to Boston, we knew there was going to be energy, but we had no idea it would be this wild. The momentum, as I wrote yesterday, is unlike anything I’ve ever seen!

In the past 24 hours, I’ve witnessed grown men cry, union members switch parties, and families turn campaign events into Saturday outings. People here feel a sense of freedom now that they haven’t felt for many decades. They feel that they can now vote for something completely different. And they’re ready to follow through with it.

Millions and millions of dollars flooded in over the past week to help Brown get elected. And even though Democrats believe it’s a means through which to insult Americans, we know this money come from the pockets of hard working, concerned and emotional patriots like you. This huge boost has helped Brown fight back against brutal and dishonest attack ads put out by the Democrat Party.

Yesterday we filmed a few speeches by Scott Brown. We traveled from Boston to Quincy, then went to Plymouth, ending the day in Cape Cod. The Brown campaign is well ran, energized, excited and continually gaining momentum.

Today while President Obama distorted the facts, insulted Boston and was heckled during his stump speech for Coakley, Scott brown was joined at a rally by Curt Schilling (Red Sox legend), Doug Flutie (former Boston College star and NFL great) and John Ratzenberger from Cheers.

That’s quite a contrast, and one that paints a very clear line between the two candidates.

There are just two more days left in this campaign. At this point, we just need to get out the vote. It’s time to call and email everyone you know in MA. Have them go vote. And in the process, they should encourage everyone they know to do the same.

Right now Brown is leading and if he wins… Obama is stripped of his 60th vote. This is a major opportunity for us and we need to do everything we can to embrace it.

For Liberty,
-Eric Odom
